While attending Northern Arizona University, I wrote for the weekly campus newspaper The Lumberjack for the arts & entertainment section. The following semester, I became co-editor for A&E.
I had a great time writing about local events -- including community and NAU plays, gallery showcases/exhibitions, upcoming shows from local bands -- as well as writing my first restaurant and album reviews.
