My name is Kristine Cannon, and I recently graduated from Northern Arizona University in May 2010 with a B.S. in journalism and a minor in electronic media & film. I graduated as a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society & cum laude.
I was a reporter for the weekly campus newspaper The Lumberjack for the arts and entertainment section. Shortly after, I became co-editor for the A&E section, focusing on web content & producing videos on a weekly basis.
To gain experience in broadcast journalism, I worked at Northern Arizona Today, the local broadcast news station located on campus, as a reporter and photographer. I guess you could say I'm a one-woman band.
I hope to continue my journey as a reporter and gain professional experience in the field journalism. Writing is and has always been my passion, and I am determined to hone my writing and reporting skills within this competitive world of journalism.
